Robin Dada (my older brother

Out of everyone in the house he’s the one who’s most frequently absent. He has a very important position with a company that provides internet connection to most people in Pokhara. Because of his position, he doesn’t really have any days off – he is always on call, even on weekends, and so often disappears for hours at a time every day of the week.
Because of that, the Acharya house is truly a house of women. When he is home, there is certainly a different atmosphere. I find it funny that Gita is scared of him, and even his sisters are intimated of this “man of the house”. I personally don’t find him intimidating in the least, but perhaps that’s because we’ve developed a good, joking relationship. Eighty percent of what he says to me is poking fun at me, so I dish it right back to him. He is also a very sarcastic person (though I can rarely tell the difference between his sarcastic tone and his serious tone, which sometimes causes misunderstanding), and I think he finds me entirely amusing, so we get along.
Because of his job, he is also an expert with computers. That works well for me because of my technological-disinclination. I think I have a computer (or technology in general)-related question for him about once a week.
Dada is also a bit lazy, and also enjoys the company of his wife more than anything else. Because of that, even when he is home, he is often in his room. I don’t exactly blame him, though. I mean, there’s a TV, the internet, and a radio in there – what more can a guy ask for, right? I guess guys are all the same no matter where in the world they grow up.
