Such great photo’s. After reading Hillbilly Elegy I’ve had an interest in Hillbilly life. So happy that you are more relaxed as a mother…it does take time…and now you know that Phoenix will adapt to life on the road. Not without challenges but manageable!
I think the mountain way of life, with it’s music and lack of many modern accoutrements, is interesting to observe and experience.
You were brave to hike alone but not something I would encourage; visions of Delivrance come to mind.
