We are eternally grateful for the travel opportunities we have had this year, and especially to all the people who hosted us or took the time to visit us these last few months. We are just as grateful for the opportunity, now, to slow down and dig back into our little life in the bus. And what we are
most of all grateful for, I think, is the fact that we don’t have to
take another flight until next spring!

We hadn’t seen our Greek overlanding friends since Africa, so when we found out we would be traveling to their home country, they were the first to know. Nikos and Georgia offered us the use of their family home on the island of Evia, an offer we couldn’t turn down. Here’s our experience living like locals for 8 days on one of Greece’s least-touristy islands.
