If I can describe this year in one word, I’d say that 2019 was the year of the see-saw. This year our life has see-sawed between periods of extreme sedentarianism (is that a word?) and extreme nomadism (a.k.a. manic travel). Let me elaborate.
We are eternally grateful for the travel opportunities we have had this year, and especially to all the people who hosted us or took the time to visit us these last few months. We are just as grateful for the opportunity, now, to slow down and dig back into our little life in the bus. And what we are
most of all grateful for, I think, is the fact that we don’t have to
take another flight until next spring!
In an honest post, I share how our travel style has changed in our Big Blue Bus since the addition of a baby. Spolier alert: travel is a lot more difficult! I reflect on what aspects I have found challenging and end by divulging a somewhat surprising change to our travels.
2019 is gearing up to be a year of TRAVEL – and not just the overlanding, baby-on-the-bus type of travel we are used to! Read on to learn about our many travel plans this year, and don’t forget to comment and tell us yours! Happy New Year, everyone!
A new vlog is up – and this one gives you a tour of the shuttle bus we converted ourselves into a home-on-wheels that we now share with our 8-month old baby. Welcome to our home!
