Last month, while Phoenix was recovering from his broken leg (!!!), we took advantage of some down-time to do some baby-related bus renovations. Like building him a safe bed, for one… And several other things. Come check out our video!
A new vlog is up – and this one gives you a tour of the shuttle bus we converted ourselves into a home-on-wheels that we now share with our 8-month old baby. Welcome to our home!
You asked for it, so here it [finally] is – a detailed tour of Big Blue, our home-on-wheels. A converted 2001 Freightliner shuttle bus designed by yours truly and brought to life with the blood, sweat and tears of one very talented Frenchman!
The maternity photos are taken, the meals are prepped, the bus is ready(ish). Baby’s belongings have been purchased, we’ve learned and researched as much post-partum info as possible, and we’re settled into nesting mode. I’d say we’re about ready for baby to arrive! Now we just have to wait and wonder when that day will be! (Due date is today, but this post was written three weeks earlier…!)
Who knew the world was so large? I sure didn’t. Up until a few months ago, all I knew was a placed called Phoenix. Now, I’ve seen canyons and mountains and forests and prairies and lakes and more animals than I ever knew existed. Now, I have a family. A new job. Now, I have a second chance at life.
