After working almost incessantly since I arrived in Kampala, I FINALLY have an adventure to report – a road trip with Bruno! We spend a week getting to know a bit of Uganda’s Ssesse Islands, Entebbe town, and Mpanga Forest Reserve.
The plane touched down in Mombasa and I was in East Africa for the first time! Bruno’s niece, Lucile, joined us and we zoomed around Kenya on a two-week holiday, including beach time and safaris. It was a great mini-holiday before I start a teaching contract in Kampala, Uganda.
The past two weeks have made my decision to come back to the farm completely worthwhile. For I got to host my mom in London ! The family I work for traveled to London again, but they only needed me for 4 days of work out of the two-week trip, for they were going to Switzerland […]
