Bruno and I have spent the last moment connecting with special people in Montreal and Toronto. This blog is a thank-you letter to all the wonderful people we ate with, laughed with, and stayed in the past four weeks. We love you all!!
I spent an entire summer at my parents’ home in New Brunswick, Canada. At first, it was just the parents and I. Then, Bruno arrived. And finally, my brother came too! It was a full house and a full summer, and to do it all justice, this post includes a heck of a lot of photos! Thanks for an amazing summer to everyone who was part of it!!
Bruno and I had loads of tourism plans to break up the monotony and work of our three months in France. We didn’t do a single one of them. Instead, we did something entirely un-nomadic: we fostered a community.
My best travel buddy came to visit me in Morocco for a three part adventure that included backpacking in Marrakech, a homestay with Moroccan friends in Taroudant, and an 8-night camping trip with Bruno, me, and Totoyaya. It was so awesome I can’t decide which part was my favorite!
I didn’t know a thing about Moroccan cuisine – but three months in a country can give you quite an education! In this post, I share my experiences and newfound knowledge of the most famous elements of Moroccan cuisines (tagine, couscous, and mint tea) as well as many lesser-known elements of the culture and fare.
