You recognize Moussou on the left. Beside her is her mom, and the other two are her cousins, Awa and Kahty (the little one). Kahty’s facial expression describes her to a tea, from what I saw on Sunday. She’s a little pest, but absolutely hilarious.  This is my grandma, Mamagou (Wolof word for grandma). I don’t actually remember her real name, but isn’t she adorable? She looks exactly like what I pictured a good Senegalese grandma would look like.  This is a picture of downtown Dakar from the third floor of a building. You can see all the garbage and people below. I’ll get more, because this picture doesn’t even completely capture how insane it is down there.  This is a a group of CIEE students before we went out to “Just 4 U” on Thursday night. |
