After living in a house in France for nine weeks, the novelty of living a normal life in a normal house was wearing off and I was able to analyze the non-nomadic lifestyle without my rose-tinted glasses on. Bruno can’t wait to be back inside his home-on-wheels, while I’m soaking up the comfort, luxury, and routine of domestic life. Will Bruno survive an extended stay in a house? Will I ever want to hit the road again?  The final post about my parents’ trip to Morocco is all about my dad – his limited travel experience, the way he embraced Morocco, learned to love it, and became a true traveler. Included is a list of subtle differences between Morocco and Canada and a sentimental ode to my parents and the six-week trip we shared.  After their three week adventure traveling in Morocco in a rented camper van, I interviewed my parents about their experience. What came was a discussion of the challenges they faced, the advantages and differences as compared to other modes of travel, things they learned from Bruno and I, and tips for people considering traveling this way.
