Last month, while Phoenix was recovering from his broken leg (!!!), we took advantage of some down-time to do some baby-related bus renovations. I’ve been trying to get this vlog out for weeks, but I’m struggling to improve the video quality. I film and upload videos with an iPhone and I think there’s some sort of issue with the MOV files and their compatibility with YouTube. Bruno and I have tried everything we can think of…. no success. Can anyone help? PLEASE??? I don’t want to stop filming these blogs, but with the video quality so bad it hardly seems worthwhile.
OK, and now, without further ado, check out our bus renovations!
Brittany - Hi Pat, really? My video was as high-res as others you watch on YouTube? When I watch mine it seems so grainy. Hope it’s a quick fix as you say!!
Brittany - Molly thank you for all those links! I will try to get my brain with-it enough to study them and see what I can do! Hope things are going well in LA!!
Pat - The video quality didn’t look bad at all! Maybe on your connection it wasn’t downloading HD? Nice renovations!
Molly McCarron - Hi Brittany,
Your .mov files should work with youtube per their upload instructions: https://support.google.com/youtube/troubleshooter/2888402?hl=en
But if your still having trouble you could use Handbrake to convert your file. I use it and it works pretty great!: https://handbrake.fr
Also I found this article for you on cameras. IPhone’s aren’t the best cameras to us for vlogging apparently: https://mashable.com/2018/04/26/best-cameras-for-vlogging/#U8nm0ChiYiqw
