My parents spent over 4 months RVing in Mexico this winter. It was one of their first RV trips abroad, and after hearing from friends and family (and the news) that Mexico wasn’t safe, they weren’t sure whether they should go. After 4.5 months in Mexico, we’re heading off to Florida and France. I look back on our explorations of northern and central Mexico and realize that, even though we were focused on family, we still saw and did an amazing amount of beautiful, interesting and cultural things! I have decided to call 2018 the year of The Phoenix – my baby boy Phoenix, that is! For it is true – this entire year has truly revolved around welcoming him into our lives and adapting to parenthood. Truth be told, it hasn’t been easy, but I think I’m finally ready to learn the lessons this precious little creature is here to teach me. Happy New Year to you all!
