This blog entry will not be good. It will not be beautiful, nor will it be witty. It will not paint a picture of a new culture or place or tell of some recently-obtained moment of clarity. Its purpose is merely to inform you – my friends and family – that I will likely not be writing much in the next few weeks as I will be ON THE ROAD!
Tomorrow is my last day of school with Christoph. The next five weeks will be a blur of adventure, discovery, and reconnections with loved ones. Here are my plans:
July 5 – 16: On the Road in Zim (specifically Chinhoyi, Kariba and Mana Pools)
July 16-17: A quick respite back on the farm
July 18th: Goodbye Africa, hello New York City!
July 19 – 23: New York, New York!
July 23 – Aug. 8: On the Road in Ecuador (to visit my baby – yes, don’t forget it Nate – brother)
Aug 8: Goodbye Ecuador, hello [again] New York City!
Aug 9: Fly home to my mama’s arms
Aug 9 – 24: You can find me on the beach in Grand-Barachois, NB. I’m not moving from this spot.
Aug 24 – 28: Ottawa
