Swine Flu Comes to Sarasas…. well, not yet, but maybe…

Last Friday we received the announcement, during our staff meeting, that swine flu had come to Thailand. This came only a day after I heard on the BBC that the flu had just been labeled a pandemic.
Ok… nothing to panic about…
Yesterday morning I went to school and, at the place where I usually scan my finger in to sign in, I had to use a cotton swab with alcohol before and after placing my thumb on the scanning machine.
Weird…
Then I went to the cumputer lab. No air con. Air con helps bacteria survive, or something. I’m not exactly sure, but we’re no longer allowed to use air con anywhere.
All this because of swine flu.

  • Adam - Swine flu now has a lower mortality rate than the regular flu. There was swine flu at the school I was teaching at and I survived.ReplyCancel
