After five stressful months of teaching in Kampala, the school year is finished. Soon, we’re hitting the road and leaving Kampala behind for good. The plane touched down in Mombasa and I was in East Africa for the first time! Bruno’s niece, Lucile, joined us and we zoomed around Kenya on a two-week holiday, including beach time and safaris. It was a great mini-holiday before I start a teaching contract in Kampala, Uganda.
